Body – Mind – Spirit

You have a spirit, which I believe is eternal, it existed before you came to earth.

You came to earth and gained a body.  It was a new experience for your spirit, probably a little shocking and hard to get used to.

You also had a mind, that created beliefs and ideas about what was going on around you.  Your mind helped you to learn to talk and read and so much more!

When our body, mind and spirit are connected, and information is flowing freely between the 3 of them, then things go more smoothly.

Do you think of your body, mind and spirit as 3 separate things?

Awareness and Meditation, I think are big keys to helping them work as one.

Meditation helps creates a space for awareness in the present moment.  And choosing to be aware as things come up in your body and mind, helps you to make changes.

Today:

Breathe in Peace & Calm — Breathe out and Smile 2-5 times in a row. 

Then Pause and notice:

What is your mind doing?  What is your body doing?  How about your spirit? 

Can you tell the difference? 

Set a timer for 2 hours and when it goes off Breathe, Pause and notice again.
