Prayer Journaling

Journaling is a powerful tool that we can use in many ways.  There is power in writing something down.  I loved this quote from Draw the Circle.  “the shortest pencil is longer than the longest memory.”

Journal when you get answers to your prayers.  This is like raising an Ebeneezer to help you remember God’s hand in your life!

Some people have a separate prayer journal and a separate scripture journal and a separate journal.  If that works for you, great!

For me it is easier to have 1 journal, but I definitely take time to write down when my prayers are answered.  I also will sometimes write a prayer down.  Sometimes I write my testimony in my journal as well.  This helps me to remember!

Take 5 minutes to write down how you have seen God answer your prayers over the past few weeks.

1 Samuel 10:12 “Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Eben-ezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.”
