He had a week of soccer camp and really loved it. One afternoon I was a minute late picking him up and I walked up to the easy up where the coaches were and I only saw a big kid sitting by the tree. I was wondering where T3 was when it occurred to me, he was the BIG kid!
The Big Kid!
I do not know how that happened!
Then the last day was family day. I got to go for the last 2 hours. We all ate lunch together and then played some soccer games. Then watch the kids play. First off, I will admit, I was grudgingly going. I have so much I want to get done and this summer is not allowing me to get much of anything done. So I was a little bugged to give up 2 hours of “free time”.
But I chose to change my attitude and just be so grateful I have a healthy boy who loves to be active and that I am healthy and can go and play outside with him. It ended up being lots of fun and I am so glad I went.
Positive Attitude – he has it too!
My favorite part was when I overheard him as his team was heading to a scrimmage “Don’t be negative guys. Say things like “We WILL win or at least Tie! That is way better.”
I LOVE that he hears and believes and then teaches others the power of words!!
